My first ride on the brand new Trek Slash! Ross Schnell and me had the possibility to do a trip in the on the Chilcotins. Together with the photographer Marco Toniolo, we rode in British Columbia, far away from the civilization.

We started our trip in a 50 years old float plane and flew from Whistler to the Lorna Lake. We were on our own responsibility and started to find the trails back to the civilization. We had no GPS or mobile phone. But Sterling Lorence did explain us the trail on a map a day before.

This was a very adventurous trip with nice trails and wonderful nature. Lucky we did not get eaten by bears.
